How we keep the Sweeby catalog current

Every price, size and color on this site comes from our own catalog, and we update it on a schedule.

Prices and availability

The catalog was last updated on September 25, 2026. Prices, sizes and colors on every page come from that update. If a price at checkout differs from ours, the one at checkout is the one you pay, and our next update catches up.

A size or a color that sells out leaves the site at the next update and comes back when it is in stock again. A piece that is out of stock everywhere is not shown at all.

Where the product facts come from

Footprints, wall heights, the kind of gate or door, the number of changing table heights and the list of colors come from the product data behind the Sweeby catalog. Photographs show the product itself. Pictures with slogans or badges printed on them stay off the site.

Safety sources

Where a page talks about a baby's safety, it cites the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission and the American Academy of Pediatrics. We read each source before citing it and print the date we read it.

What the safety rules say

U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission: Gates and Enclosures Business Guidance. A freestanding playpen that surrounds a play space counts as an expandable enclosure under 16 CFR part 1239, which points to ASTM F1004. The rule covers children 6 to 24 months and sets limits on openings, side height, latches and hinges, pinch points and bottom gaps. Read September 25, 2026.

U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission: Baby Changing Products Business Guidance. Changing tables fall under 16 CFR part 1235, which points to ASTM F2388. The standard asks for barriers that keep an infant from rolling off, a stable and sturdy frame, and restraints. Read September 25, 2026.

American Academy of Pediatrics (HealthyChildren.org): Changing Table Safety. Look for a guardrail about 2 inches high on all four sides and a top that dips slightly in the middle. Buckle the strap but never rely on it alone, keep supplies within your reach and out of the baby's, and never step away, not even for a moment. Read September 25, 2026.

American Academy of Pediatrics (HealthyChildren.org): A Parent's Guide to Safe Sleep. Babies should sleep on their backs in a crib, bassinet, portable crib or play yard that meets CPSC standards, with no pillows, blankets or bumpers. A baby who dozes off somewhere else should be moved to a firm, flat sleep surface. Read September 25, 2026.
