About the Sweeby Classic Gate Playpen
A lockable gate, a 24-inch wall and a big 79 by 71 play yard for a house full of toys.
This is the playpen for a room that has become a playroom. At 79 by 71 inches it holds a ball pit, a pile of blocks and a parent sitting cross-legged in the middle. The 71 by 59 size fits a smaller living room with the same gate.
The gate has a lock, so it opens when you open it and not before. Mesh runs all the way round, so the view from the kitchen is clear. The walls stand 24 inches tall, which is lower than the rest of the range and easier to lean over.
The joints turn, so the walls can bend into a rounder shape to fit your furniture. It folds for storage. The floor mat is not included: most parents put it over a play mat or a rug they already have. The Classic Gate Playpen is one of seven pieces in the Sweeby catalog.
